-Is starting a nap routine! 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
-Becoming more interested in toys

Dear Brinley,

You have been so cranky the last few days and have absolutely worn me out and yet I continue to look forward to your waking up every morning so we can talk and play together.

You have become so much more lively the past few weeks. You light up when you see Michael, your daddy, or myself. You hate tummy time and love to be held.

I can already tell that you have a feisty little spirit and personality. You want what you want and you don't like any different than that. It's fun and scary and I think ahead to the challenges that we'll probably have knowing already how sassy you'll be (no idea where it comes from).

You are so blessed with a beautiful face but more importantly will be how you develop your inner beauty. That much is up to you, the good looks you can thank your lucky genes for but your inner beauty? That's all created and maintained by you, my love and I hope you can see that as you grow.
