Sweet Baby Bear, August
21, 2012
Today was another first for us.
You had the hiccups!!! It was the cutest thing I have ever experienced. I could
feel you hiccupping and could see my whole tummy bouncing at the same time. It
was a precious moment for us.
Tonight while your Daddy and I lay
in bed he asked, “How’s my Baby Bear doing?” just like he asks every night. He
then laid his head on my tummy and talked to you for a long time telling you
how much he loves you already and how much he adores me. He told you all about
all the things he’s going to teach you to do. This is a nightly occurrence as
you’ve learned. Most nights you kick and fuss until he comes to talk to you.
After that you kick for awhile more and then settle down.
We’re very lucky, you and I. We
have a most wonderful husband and daddy; you can thank your Grandma and Grandpa
Reed for raising such a sweetie!
Anyway, you’re begging to be
fed again, Baby Bear…you eat a lot, you know. I hope this is no indication of
your size! Remember that your cousin Zach was almost 12 pounds…that is not
okay. You need to be tiny for your momma!
I love you, Baby Bear.
Love,
Your ever adoring Mother.
