Baby Bear # 9: Nice to see you again. :)

Dear Baby Bear,                                                                                   September 13, 2012

Today your dad and I got to see you again and this time you looked like a REAL person! :) You even looked at the camera for us this time so we could see your smile! My heart absolutely melted when I saw your sweet face smiling and your hands covering up your ears. Our sweet nurse took pictures of your LONG legs, your sweet little hands and feet, your smiling little face, and of your wee man parts. :) She even took a picture for us of the hair on your head which made me so excited that you won't be a bald little baby!

Your heart beat was a strong little 132 beats per minute! She estimated your weight at 4 pounds!! Baby bear, most babies your age are barely 3 pounds….I think you might be a giant. :) The nurse said that you're measuring in the 75^th percentile for overall size (big). So can daddy and I cross our fingers for you to be an October baby since you're turning out to potentially be such a big boy!?  I'll be honest; I don't like to remember that most of this is just guess work right now since they can't actually see you. I just want you to be here so I can hold you and love on you and talk to you face to face rather than face to….belly. :)

One last thing Baby Bear, if you could just somehow remove your foot from my ribs….that would be FANTASTIC. I would like to be able to breathe, sit, walk, sleep, live without pain again. :) If not, it's okay, I understand…I'll have a looong time to get you back! ;) I love you sweet Baby Bear. I hope you are listening to your daddy and I at night when we talk to you…I don't know what else you could be doing! :)
