5 Month Michael, 3/25/13

5 Month Michael likes to: 

• Sporadically sleep well at night...can we go back to where you slept all night, please?
• Scoot scoot scoot on his tummy
• Play in his exersaucer like a boss
• Watch his daddy play Battlefield
• Stare at fans
• Usually wake up at 7:00 a.m. but sometimes will sleep in until 7:15 a.m. :)
• Laugh and laugh at his Uncles Dave and Tom
• Be snuggled by anyone available
• Flirt
• Throw his pacifier as hard as possible and then suck his thumb
• Mimic the sounds other people make
• Hold his toes like someone's trying to steal 'em!
• Play with his crinkly monkey toy
• Have baths 
• Play with the dogs

5 Month Michael Stats:

• Eats 5 ounces of formula every 3 hours or a bowl full of rice cereal and apple sauce mixed
• 20.8 lbs.
• 27 inches....hello 12 month pants. :)
• Started wearing size FOUR diapers today....FOUR!?!?! 
• Sit up on his own for short spurts of time
• Sing at church when everyone else is singing
• Poop out his diaper and up his back at church
• Can clear a room with his gas...serious tummy issues....
• Ticklish everywhere! I love it! :)

5 Month Michael is so fun. He's changing so much so fast and I just want to put him in slow motion so I can spend more time with his current personality! He's really becoming his own little person. He is such a ham, always laughing and making others laugh. He loves to smile at everyone. It's so fun to see more and more of Russell and I in him. The crown of his head looks exactly like Russell's. His lips look just like mine. We love him so much-he is our little (big) pride and joy. We tell him every day that he the reason we do everything we do. I want him to be able to be proud of us someday when he understands all of the sacrifices we're making now for him later on.
