Date Night

So on Friday, I got a phone call from Russell saying he was in the emergency room—he hurt his back while moving a patient. He said he was fine and that I didn’t need to worry, he was going to get some muscle relaxants and head home. I started thinking about our date night (we have a date night every

Friday) we don’t always go buy dinner and see a movie or whatever. Sometimes we just want to make sandwiches and go to the park….doesn’t matter, we just need a night to us. So anyway, it was my Friday to plan and I had planned on going to the MudRoom* and then grabbing a quick dinner and a redbox movie…well with him not being able to get up and walk around I had to improvise.

I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up some ceramics- a pig piggy bank, and 3 blank signs. I have a LOT of paint at home so I didn’t even bother buying any. I knew that

Russell would want the piggy bank. : ) I stopped by Popeyes b/c they’re very very cheap and then went to Redbox and picked up a couple of movies. All in all, and I thinkRussell would agree, it definitely turned out to be one of our best date nights, yet. : )
