8 Month Michael; June 25, 2013

8 Month Michael Likes to:

• Army crawl EVERYWHERE
• Find every cord everywhere you could possibly think of hiding it and chew it, pull it, or wrap it around himself, etc...
• Sleeps at least 8 hours every night
• Eat more solids-he's started eating those Puffs that dissolve quickly in his mouth
• Play with his Moosie, Sophie, and colorful worm the most
• Play in his exersaucer for loooong periods of time
• Lick the dogs
• Lick the floor
• Lick us
• Lick everything
• Cheeeew chew chew

8 Month Michael Stats: 

• 25.3 pounds
• 28 inches
• Wearing pretty snug size 4 diapers
• Pick up small things (like Puffs) and get them to his mouth...coordination is improving
• Eats oatmeal and 2 jars of food at every meal. 
• Sticks his tongue out and licks everything

Russell and I are just IN LOVE with Michael! He's so precious and has began to be a tiny person (personality-wise). He has started laughing at things that he thinks are funny (like when Russell and I make stupid faces) and has started talking to us. If we babble at him then he will repeat our babble and then babble something else. He loves having little conversations with us but I'm pretty sure we love it more. :) 

Michael and his puppies have such a sweet bond. They are always looking out for him and treat him like one of them. They have to check on him before he goes down at night and want to be in the room when we read him bedtime stories. They love him as much as we do, I think. Michael has started recognizing when we are getting near Grammy and Papa's house. When we ask him, "You wanna see Grammy and Papa!?" he giggles and kicks his legs. 

Basically, Michael is perfect and sweet and precious and we're obsessed. Baby Bear has stolen our hearts and I wouldn't rather have lost it to anyone else. :)
