2012
was a beautiful and difficult year! We were tested more than we ever have been,
both individually and together, and we were blessed more then we could have
ever deserved.
January
I
started the last semester of my Undergrad education. Russell and I also bought
our very first pieces of furniture that we consider real investments, a large
sectional, new mattress, t.v. and a t.v. stand, we felt VERY grown up. ;)
February
I cooked with a slow cooker for the first time
EVER!! I was also about a month along and didn’t know it…I guess I should have
known considering I could hardly ever get off of the couch because I was so
sick all the time!!
March
We
found out during the first week of March that we were expecting a sweet little baby.
Our prayers had been answered and we were both terrified and excited! We also celebrated my 23rd birthday.
April
The
eldest of my baby sisters was married for eternity to her sweetheart, Jimmy, in
the Lubbock Temple! I was admitted to the hospital for the first time during my
pregnancy due to complications and was told to take it easy.
May
I
GRADUATED, from Texas Tech University and it felt aaamazing!
June
We
found out that we were having a sweet baby BOY! I moved to Amarillo and Russell
stayed behind to continue to work so we could have insurance.
July

August
Russell
started school again West Texas A&M University as a Biotechnology and Hospital
Administration Major.
September
We took some beautiful maternity photos from the lovely Mack Castillo of Mack Photography. I started having complications in my pregnancy
and was admitted to the hospital for the second time during my pregnancy.
October

November
Michael
was released from NICU and we took him home with full, grateful hearts. We celebrated Thanksgiving in Lubbock with Russell's parents, Michael loved spending time with his Grandma and Grandpa Reed.
December
We
celebrated our first Christmas as a family of three. Michael received a blessing from his Daddy, grandfathers, and Uncles. We also started
renovations on our very first home! J
Here’s
to hoping we can be just as blessed in 2013. Happy New Year, everyone!!!
