Sore, sore and oh yeah, sore! :)

Well a decision was made. We'll jog every other night, it was kind of a high expectation for every night and I knew that. With us both coming home from work today, we ate we were super tired but we pushed through an Ab and Butt workout and then said, nope. haha So we'll save jogging for every other day.  :)

Also, I'm not sure if I should be doing my Abs and Butt every morning and night? I'm not sure it's healthy, I'm just afraid that doing it twice a day every day will weaken my muscles and not give them time to build up. Any thoughts from those who are more exercise inclined than I am?

My biggest problem though is that working out feels so good! Yes, I'm sore but it just makes me feel good-like it's supposed to-so it's hard for me to not work out. Maybe I'll find a different work out to do in the mornings, like arms and jumping jacks or something? Like I said before, I'm not looking for washboard abs or abs at all for that matter, I just want to lose fat and feel good and look good to myself

In other news, if I find one more glass with the remnants of chocolate milk in it I may scream. I know Russell, you LOVE chocolate milk but when you're done with the glass, put it in the SINK. I love you, honey! <3

Other than that, I started back to work today, it was a nice rude awakening especially since I'm so sore I can hardly move. :/ My kids took advantage of the fact that walking proved difficult for me today and ran around like wild Indians. lovely.

Super excited to keep my blog and exercising going!! :)

  1. Paul leaves chocolate milk in cups too! It drives me crazy! We don't have a dishwasher and it's hard for me to get the sticky parts out.

I would say only keep the ab and butt workouts to every other day, no matter how good it feels. The only problem with that is it's difficult to establish a routine to help you remember to work out. I would do your obliques and calves on your off days. Those are fairly easy workouts and will still help you establish a routine.

  2. Mandy-I'm so lost when it comes to exercising!! All of my younger siblings and one of my older brothers is very athletically inclined...somehow I missed the boat!

Oh dear, I don't think I could allow chocolate milk in the house if I had to clean the dishes by hand!
