This is my thought, if anyone is EVER having doubts about the church---go sit in
primary for the day. And I also think that the missionary class should take place in the primary room once a month because there isn’t another room in the whole church where the Spirit will be felt as strongly as it is in Primary. I teach the Sunbeams, four-year old class, and they get SO excited when we sing the song, Scripture Power. Mostly because they get to fist pump their scriptures every time we sing “Scripture Power” during the chorus…but nevertheless, the whole primary gets excited because it’s an upbeat song that speaks of truths for every person, every religion, and every
nation. Here are the lyrics:
“Because I want to be like the Savior, and I can, I’m reading His instructions, I’m following His plan. Because I want the power His word will give me, I’m changing how I live, I’m changing what I’ll be.
Scripture Power keeps me safe from sin. Scripture power is the power to win. Scripture power! Every day I need the power that I get each time I read.
I’ll find the sword of truth in each scripture that I learn. I’ll take the shield of faith from these pages that I turn. I’ll wear each vital part of the armor of the Lord, and fight my daily battles, and win a great reward.
Scripture power keeps me safe from sin. Scripture power is the power to win. Scripture power! Every day I need the power that I get each time I read.” --lyrics and music property of Clive Romney 2004
BEST.SONG.EVER. and it has been stuck in my head since…oh I don’t know, Sunday.

As I was reading my scriptures at work while the kids napped I came across some scripture in D&C 132 that I was VERY confused by, so I wrote down a list of about 15 questions and decided that I would call my dad after work as he is the smartest guy I know—both in temporal and spiritual matters. My dad is so patient; he very graciously answered all my questions without a sigh or “I don’t have time for this” tone as I know he’s always busy. I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

So I guess all this is about how blessed I am to have the church, the primary, the scriptures, and my family. : )
