Everyone I know, that is married, always told me that life speeds up when you say "I do". Its like goings from being in the slow lane to the fast lane. I didn't realize that the slow lane was like you were moving along at about 50 mph and the fast lane bumped you up to about 90 mph. Day after day goes by and it seems like I am just standing still.
Just like Rachel said in the post before this, it has been quite some time since we last posted. It has been a couple of months for me. I have never been that good when it comes to writing. That is why I always let Rachel do the posting for our blog. However, it is currently 5:47 AM and I decided I would give it a shot.
Lots has happened since we got married. As we have tried to start our new life....and well, we have discovered just like everyone else, that it is hard and it takes time. Trying to make decisions that will help us in our future together and as a family. ...hold on one sec, I heated up some water for some hot chocolate and it is ready, I'll be right back.... It snowed last night, so I figured that a cup of hot chocolate sounded nice.
Work for me has been interesting. Since Rachel and I have been married, I have received a small promotion at work. I am basically the night supervisor for the Transportation department at Covenant. I more or less see my self as a glorified baby sitter some of the times. It can be annoying at times. I do enjoy my job though. I work the afternoon shift which sucks cause I am not home at night with Rachel.
Rachel just woke up. If you will excuse me for just a moment I am

going to go offer her some hot chocolate as well....having hot chocolate is a fun thing for us. About the time we got married, we made some mugs for one another. I bet you can't guess which one is mine. I have to say, that that is the best tulip I have ever drawn in my life.
We just got a phone call my Texas Tech, classes have been delayed till 11. And that means that Rachel's class has been canceled. I am tempted to go back to bed, except I have things I want to get done today. First, I am donating plasma again. It brings in about $70 a week for us to spend how we wish. A little play money. I got some shopping to do and I need to replace the tail light on my Tahoe. And last but not least, get a little sleep before work.
So....with that, I will say goodbye.
